THIS PROJECT HAS ALLOWED US TO COME TOGETHER FOR NEW CHALLENGES THAT COME OUR WAY.

QUOTE, PROVERB OR ADAGE TO ILLUSTRATE THE IMPACT OF PANELISTS IN A GENERAL WAY

"IF YOU WANT TO GO FAST, WALK ALONE, BUT IF YOU WANT TO GO FAR, LET'S WALK TOGETHER."

Our young panelists thought about funding, empowering and supporting women, children and movements that could be led by feminists, women, girls, children and people of different gender, in pursuit of gender justice and social transformation.

The aim is to have or obtain a world where freedom and dignity are achieved for all, and where gender justice is a reality for women, girls, children, orphans and people of different gender.

JOY

The young panelists believe in creating a think tank of these types of people, the panelists themselves, feminists, women, girls, children, orphans and people of gender diversity, who will bring meaningful joy and can be essential for promoting curiosity in their daily lives, which in turn unlocks discovery, imagination and daring. For the group of panelists, these are the vital ingredients and energies the world needs to bring about positive change on every continent.

QUOTES, PROVERBS OR ADAGE TO ILLUSTRATE THE IMPACT OF PANELISTS IN A GENERAL WAY

"IF THEY WASH YOUR BACK, WASH YOUR FACE TOO."
"A MOUTH FULL OF FLOUR IS HARD TO SWALLOW."

(Meaning the joy that drives us is so immense that words fail to express our gratitude.)

CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

Young panelists always have ideas for creating and promoting spaces for creativity to support panelists themselves, feminists, women, girls, children, orphans and people of gender diversity. They hope that creativity will open their minds and allow them all to see, tell and solve problems through innovative approaches and solutions as they come together and share their ideas.

QUOTE, PROVERB OR ADAGE TO ILLUSTRATE THE IMPACT OF PANELISTS IN A GENERAL WAY

"Never say that you threw your act of charity/your act of charitable help to these orphaned children in need, because God will reward you. Or do not say that you regret your benefit or your good deed, because it is God who will reward you."

COURAGE

“There is no story of a thing that happens before it happens. As we are brave and dare to be bold, we call on everyone to join us, to sit down with us and to think about helping these orphans, to rise up with a panoramic vision for the freedom and rights of all African women and all people of different gender. We are ready to take risks to win if it means that we can get closer to our vision."  Winning is the strongest feeling in the world of our generation.

In discrimination, there are rules that keep you safe. In life, there are rules that keep the world from descending into chaos. In both, there are rules that people make up to hide behind or for their own benefit. For us, the young panelists, we have to be smart enough to know the difference

"Just because it's a rule doesn't mean it's right."

LEARNING AND ADAPTABILITY

People may have the ability to ignore all the information they see, touch, read and hear from the bodies of these children called orphans, and even ignore their pain in general. As members of youth panels, we listen deeply, intimately, and carefully to the communities and individuals we support and collaborate with, and we respect their knowledge, perspectives, and diverse experiences. As young panelists, we find that we disassociate ourselves from the pain of the panelists themselves, feminists, women, girls, children, orphans and people of different gender, because we are not the pain which can be seen without being felt. These are not our feelings. That's not who we are. We categorically refuse to let pain of any kind dictate our decisions.

The young panelist left pain as one piece of information among others that these orphans receive. The nerves of our young panelist communicate to the brain of our world that there is something going on physically, mentally, morally and emotionally that we should be aware of. The young panelists seek to learn how to become the best versions of themselves, feminists, women, girls, children, orphans and people of gender diversity, and to progress towards their vision. We respond to their needs and challenges with agility and compassion and strive to adapt and improve our approaches, while remaining true to our essence and core values.

RESPONSIBILITY AND INTEGRITY

Transforming limitations into opportunities

We, the youth panelists, saw the positive benefit in every injury and negative thing that happened to our panelists themselves. As a result of those negative things, we have developed a deep sense of accountability to our team, our partners, the philanthropic organizations, and wider feminist movements. Being accountable fosters mutual trust and respect.

Too many people consider injury to be a barrier to progress, but we've worked hard to end this barrier and instead, to fight for what is good --and do it fast. We have acknowledged our integrity and we remain true to who we are and what we want to do. We are not afraid to try, to make mistakes, to learn (and unlearn) and to start over.

COLLECTIVE CARE

We are convinced that no one can achieve gender justice alone. We firmly believe in the importance of collaboration and collective and shared power. We are compassionate and care deeply about each other, striving to support the physical and mental well-being of each of the panelists, feminists, women, girls, children, orphans and people of gender diversity --shaping a world where their dignity is respected, where their diversity is celebrated and where they are treated equally and fairly, regardless of their identity.

We choose, without a doubt, to succeed. We are determined that no one can ever again put the panelists themselves, feminists, women, girls, children, orphans and people of different gender in a situation where they have no voice to affirm their rights and their personal dignity.

So, we are absolutely learning, and we are taking risks.

QUOTE, PROVERB OR ADAGE TO ILLUSTRATE THE IMPACT OF THE PANELISTS IN A GENERAL WAY

“Our success is our best revenge.”
